A perfect recipe for sensory development, increasing fine motor skills & releasing stress

A few household ingredients is all you need to make this slime—a favorite indoor activity that can be used as a quiet center in class, kept on-hand for calming interventions, or part of fine motor therapy practice.
Ingredients
8 ounces washable glue
1-2 drops food coloring
1/3 cup glitter
1 teaspoon baking soda
2-1/2 Tablespoons of contact saline solution
Make sure to cover your work surface before you begin.
Pour glue into medium-sized bowl.
Add food coloring & glitter. Mix thoroughly.
Add baking soda & stir until smooth.
Slowly stir in saline solution until a ball of slime forms.
Remove slime from bowl & continue to knead until smooth & stretchy.
Store in an air-tight container.
Fine Motor Activities
Add beads, buttons or small toys to slime & have your child pull them out.
Stretch slime out and use scissors or cookie cutters to cut slime into pieces.
Make silly monsters. Use googly eyes, straws & toothpicks to make funny creatures.
